Unlucky in Gaming...
Well, how to put this... I've been gaming with what feels like the same group since high school. Sure some of the members have shifted and changed but two have remained fairly constant and the dynamic of the group has been, more or less, the same. I have some issues with this group, with the two long term members in particular, but that's not the issue at hand. Suffice to say I've tried to branch out, tried to run games for other groups in the hopes of finding one that seems to better fit me as a GM. This has been met with varying degrees of failure. The first attempts, oh so long ago, were with a group of players that lived down the street from me. They were an older crowd, college students to me who was just in high school, but they were fun people and didn't seem to mind me too much.
